Lot's of contract barns still being built here in North Mo. Smithfield provides the hogs, under the name of Premium Standard Farms. Good friend of mine is putting up 5 right now. The last time, hogs went south, most of those big operations just kept getting bigger. I guess it's a take it when you can get it, and the bad times let's them expand.
What do you hear? Sow liquidation ?
