Remsen, Iowa | I'm going to get a few head of cattle, sometime in February, about 8-12 to fatten out. About 600 pounds to market weight. I know little or nothing about this venture. Right now I'm looking for a water fountain to put on lid on top of a 3 foot dia. pit. I don't think I what an energy free water, due to not enough animals drinking to keep it open.
Today I looked at a picture of a Ritchie all plastic waterer. Price was $350.00. Will the 100% plastic take the abuse of a few head of cattle?
What water would you suggest to be trouble free?
