Subject: Re: Need help with High Tensile Fence - corners

Driftless SW Wisconsin

I've been using the Gallagher cylindrical porcelain insulators on ends and in corners - use #11 or #9 wire around the post a couple times with a loose staple to hold height then wrap the end leaving a pigtail to the inside which goes thru the insulator and tight wrap that pigtail back around itself leaving the insulator about 6" inside the corner and just run the wire continuously through. I found the key is using the little round steel Gallagher tool with wire sized holes to wrap ends tight.
