Few questions for you before I can answer yours. What type of wrap a rounds have you been using ? Not so much "brand " name but do they have the steel insert or solid plastic, what length are they 16" 18" 24" ? Do you feel they are shorting out because of current jumping back to the corner posts or bleeding thru the insulator itself ? There are other options but really if the correct wrap is used and installed correctly they should get the job done too ? Let me know what you have been using and we'll problem solve from there.
