Lost a 250lb calf that choked on his milk while drinking it out of a 5 gal bucket. Just stuck his head in, one draw and dead.
Lost a 600lb calf due to a fork in a tree. Got his head up into it somehow and could remember how to get it back out. Angus always hit their knees in times of trouble. ):
Never realized how deadly hay rings could be until I saw it.
