Thumb of Michigan
Certified Addagio or Colonel OSR runs about $2/# certified in 50# sacks. Like to seed 12-15#/ac. It can be grown for harvest, but it's a bugger to do it. As far as a N credit, it used to be iffy to use it for that alone, but with N prices now it gets more attractive. I've used Austrian winter peas as well, and like them. For us, summer seeding is the only way to get much of a stand of peas here. I did get much more growth with those vs AC Greenfix.

Most of the Oilseed Radish research I'm aware of is in Idaho as far as state side. The varieties we use were bred in Germany to combat Sugar Beet nematodes. And its pretty effective at doing that. Would be neat to have a breeding program for soybean cyst nematode, but last I knew that was a ways off.
