Subject: RE: soybean yields

Manitoba canada
300 acres ,Planted in beautiful conditions in may (RR's) ,Got 19 inches of rain through may/ june /july so missed one roundup application ,Germination was very varied ,Patches of 10-20 acres that had water laying came through ground up to 4 weeks later ,Then we got the heat in august .
Needless to say i was not expecting much from them (Some in this area talk of 25-35 bushells) But 3 fields varied between 36-48 bushells but averaged 44 overall ,The night we quit combining at 11.30 it rained 1 hour later and has done for 4 days ,Almost 3 inches ,Some were got at 14% moisture but i feel everything turned out ok .I never expected that yeild given the stress ?
Plants were very short but i find that can usually be the case with roundups (Glad i bought a flex last year) .
...OH..and plant with 7 inch space airseeder .
