Southeast Missouri | I second that Carl.....well put...I have talked to the DPL Reps in person and they said the same thing you just explained...DPL 117 is a racehorse variety that shoots out of the gate fast and has a rapid fruiting pattern due to its extreme earliness....its two weeks earlier in maturity than DPL 444...In a normal year with average rainfall we wouldn't be havin this conversation because the yield would be there....like you said, you learn more in a down year than in 5 good ones.... | |
