Southeast Missouri | Yes....we acutally had 1000+ acres of it, however as much as everybody bad mouths it we acutally made anywhere from 800-1250 lbs/ac with it. But yes it is very knotty in the top and doesn't pick out of the bur, just shreds it from the plant.....As I've said in other posts, the DPL Reps contend that it doesn't perform well in stressed conditions....sure now they say that after seeing the results....ha.....magic word is Stoneville...ha | |
