Hey Tnfarmer, sorry to hear about your corn. I know it doesn't help but I shelled some of that 45 bu corn too. I felt really blessed that my whole corn crop averaged 94 bu. I figure thats a hair over break even for me. (not counting labor) I didn't think it was even that good before I started. I will start beans soon. The early waist high beans have only a few tiny beans in them. I wonder if they will make even 10 bu/acre. Maybe they will suprise me like the corn. I believe the 5 in. of rain a couple of weeks ago may have helped my later beans somewhat. $10.00 beans really help these low yields cover expenses but they make me think "what if I had last year's yields with this years prices?" Then it's disappointing for sure. Hope your harvest goes well. Rick
