southern MN | It's a little confusing - insurance was supposed to get rid of disaster aid. Now they only pay out aid to those with insurance - double dipping. Those without insurance had same loss as those with. As is, it makes no sense at all. Either pay all producers this 'bonus' aid, or pay none of them.
Agree with you - the more 'safe' they make farming, the more big business BTO it becomes. Sink or swim on your own.
