0-0-30 can foam just as though you were opening a can of pop. 0-0-30 has to get rid of the carbonate to mix with such as 10-34-0. It is the carbonate coming off particularly in a closed, or not adequately ventilated, tank that becomes the big issue. Mixing in a closed tank is not recommended.
