Little River, TX | It has been a long bumpy road and I am not out of the wilderness yet.
The first potash I used was a white salt dissolved in water. Sure made the water cold. When the dealer used up all his highly soluble potash I switched to Murate of Potash.
Now prior to planting alfalfa or as I see fit on bermudagrass sod I apply 500 lbs MOP & enough K,Mg,Sulfate (K-Mag) to bring the potassium level up to what I think I want. Do this every 3 to 5 years on each hay field.
I presume the 0-0-11 is what I ended up applying when dissolved in water.
One of my idiosyncrasy is I do not look for a premixed fertilizer, but look at what I feel is needed and apply that, in usually multiple passes. Seeing I like to chisel in 11-37-0.
Probably considered to be a nut case but, for me it works.
I appreciate your information.
