What a difference than here. We usually drill at least 60 lbs. and most push 90lbs. of seed. Few use anhydrous. Those are good yields especially considering being grazed. Your right about moisture being everything. Sometimes I wonder if we're being sold too much "stuff". I might just try some different fertilizer and seeding rates and see what happens.
