Subject: Re: wheat infurrow ?

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
County average is around 40 bu./a. This year we ran 50-70bu./a. I apply starter on any crop I'm planting except beans. So I kind of feel with just put out enough nutrients to feed one crop at a time.
We've been in a drought for the last 7 years until this year so our yields have been lower at times. Our soil tests after going several rotations using 12 gal. of 10-34-0 showed increased levels of Phos so we decided to back down a little.
