We started 3x in June
17% increase in milk remember more milk equals more feed intake
drop in SCC no more "leakers" Mastits??? I think we have had 2 flare ups this year
The first 3 weeks are a living hell until you get into the new routine
I do the morning milking My lovely wife helps with the afternoon and nightime milking
Its worked out great with having a young family our times are 6am 1pm and 9 pm
The kids sports and clubs are always at 4:30 to 7:30pm
Its been nice to get out and see there games for a change instead of having to be in the barn
There are days we wonder why we do it but it has really worked well for us
