Glenn, at your production levels, I think it will be a positive thing, IMO a high producing holstein has been bred past the point of 2x milking, particularely those that are well above your herd average.

Glad to hear your marriage is still ok.:) Unfortunately with Dairy that is far from a guarantee. Didn't realize how many are not in that situation, was at a dairy meeting a couple years ago and somehow conversatioin turned to how many of us were still on our first marriage, over 1/2 at the table I was at were on # 2, couple working on 3.
