Subject: 2x vs 3x

Chilliwack, British Columbia
We are short on milk a little bit (quota) and are slowly making it up. Have a great chance the next little while to ship a lot of milk. How many of you guys have switched recently and are enjoying it still? I don't care about lbs(Kg) per day, everything is based on Kg of components. I need these to come up enough to pay for the extra feed and labour etc. We are currently at 34kg of milk @ 3.8%BF and 3.3%MP. Where can I see these numbers go to?

Is it worth milking just the high group? Our groups are 90 cows in the high and 20 in the low. We treat it more like a predry pen lately. Use it to keep fat off the backs. The high is at 37kg milk, 3.66%BF and 3.25%MP. Low cows are 26kg milk, 4.35%BF and 3.55%MP.
