NEND
We talked about either putting a 2" pvc pipe around the 1" water line, then wrapping the water line in heat tape. Or putting heat tape on with a 1" layer of foam (like a kids floaty noodle) around it. We will have a shut off under the waterer and another at the well head.

Wiring will go from an electrical box about 20' away to the waterer underground. We had to dig in 900ft of water line and electrical line to get this to work so we tried to cover all the bases and planned for future use also. Electrical box is sized so we can add lights to a small building/tack shed, run some heat lamps or plug in a tractor, etc. We also have 2 frost free spigots on this line with the waterer at the end of the road.
