soaked corn every other day and they'll get by with 10 to 16 lbs of rough feed ( a bunch of they they may get out picking thru the rocks btw ).

And you'll be able to drop your cottonseed use in half.

Assuming cottonseed there is 100 to 150 a ton higher there than dry corn ( it is here ).

Dry corn at say $250 to $300 per ton works out to soaked corn at $175 to $200 p T, btw.


I tried that soaked corn and they wouldn't touch it... I just took a full bucket of shelled corn and filled the bucket with water and let it sit for a day before I tried to feed it... did I do something wrong?
