Yes you will have time to plant beans early enough for a good crop. we bale it when you squeeze the seed and it is milky. It makes good hay and alot of it. I have a buddy that got around 5 bales / acre. I no tilled some in september and it isnt doing very good no rain here in weeks. Good Luck
