NC Indiana | It was Rochester. Sold a 178# Sept bwf calf today for $175, 3 wt heifer/bull calves for $114-$120, and 7 cull cows. Didn't stay for the cows. Dad said they sold some 6 wt holstein/beef cross calver for $103 while he was waiting for ours to sell and some 6 wt beef calves for $106. Not sure where they were getting $140 at. Logan said they sold 1250 hd of 6 wts this week between the 2 barns and top was $125. Stopped by neighbors on way home from last load and bought 4 2nd calf blk cows and 6 5- 8 yr olds for $850/. Not sure if they are bred or not as he noticed his bull had swollen sack 6 wks ago, but had been in since May. Made an offer on his 5-6 wt calves as well. | |
