SE SD | Garrison creeping foxtail is another one that will handle some wet soils. Produces well, and usually better quality than reed canary grass. Some of the new varities of reed canary, palaton is one and it accumulates less alkaloids, and is usually better quality.
Edit, ben's comment was on common reed, which is different than reed canary. Phalaris arundinacea is reed canarygrass, and Phragmites australis is common reed. Common reed gets huge, 10 feet tall sometimes. I have no experience with common reed grazing, on in some transplants in some wet and alkali soils.
