Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49
I am realizing That have black cows in hot weather is taking some management that I was not a where of when I started getting back Angus knocking the black cattle but it seems as throw out west they are ahead of us back here most are using red or deferent collared bulls and yes I feel the condition of cows play apart, even age, anything starting at 8 yrs. to 10 yrs. old needs to be culled. Last yr. I did not have my cows in quality condition and had old cows to boot and guess what I am strong out.
I think with a little planning I would like to calve my 30 cows in at least 45 days or they are out of here and replaced.
