I'm no expert but for that number of cows I would think you could set up some panels and be done with it. Assuming the cows are not shy or get worked up easily. Once you start moving them they will get used to it. Like others have said, reward them for coming into the loading area. Obviously you wouldn't want to leave them in the panels for very long so maybe set up a fencer around a larger area than the panels so the ones you can't fit in the trailer get some room to roam, but will be easy to get back in the loading area. Or maybe don't even do that, it's obviously up to you. Don't know what your area is like, here there are too many acreages, farmsteads, cars, and trucks to drive cattle very far. I've never driven cattle more than a mile on a road, but I imagine it would take the better part of a day, and that's quite a bit of time for the number of cows you are talking.
