Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines
We finished a few of them. they finished at 1350 lbs. In a group of 100 70% graded choice or prime. only 1 number 3 frame. Also interesting is one of them even qualified CAB. In my research, i think it would be ok to graze a holstein from that 400-600 lb range. Of course they will still need to be offered all the grain they can eat. We offered free choice hay in the 300-500 lb range and found they only consumbed about 3 lb per head per day, which we thought was perfect.
