Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | The previous incident was that our neighbor was fishing on their pond their land, 500 or more yards away from this boy shooting, had a shell land beside his cork and a second shell land beside him. Words were exchanged then. Yesterday, started tearing down a pasture fence, fixing to convert this pasture over to a field, boy is shooting over on the farm north of us, which he doesn't own, I'm 100 yards or better off the property line when I hear the bullet. Didn't see it drop, I was headed for cover then. Happened to be burning off part of that pasture then, had the firetruck there, so reach in the cab and laid on that airhorn, don't know if it did any good or not. Probably should have called the law, did call the neighbor, who is the landowner, who was the one shot at, he said he would visit the boy, we'll see if it did any good. Another incident, the law will be called, hope there is no more incidents, going to be working on the fence the rest of the week. |
