This is not the time to be a good neighbor and let is slide.  The health and safety of you and others is at risk.

My daughter lives in a small river village.  A neighbor was known to be a bit ... unstable might be a good word.  He has since committed suicide.  He was out in his backyard shooting his gun and bullets got to whizzing past her house.  She called the Sheriff's dept. and complained.  Rather than respond directly (I think the deputy on duty was afraid of him) the Sheriff's Department called and left a message on his answering machine asking him not to do that any more.

Let's just say that by the time Grandpa got done explaining things to a few people it didn't happen anymore ... the shooting toward the house my grandsons live in OR the calling and leaving a message
