I would look at the apps that the tv/computer can access. Do you have netflix, pandora, etc. Different brands have different apps that come with the tv. The tv needs to have at least 3 if not 4 hdmi ports. My new tv would have at least an Ethernet port and wifi. (with wpa2). I have a roku box, and a wii. It is so easy to hook these two boxes via wifi. Wifi is the new need for a tv.
