We've had our Samsung 52" HD LCD just about a year now. Love it!! Switched from DirectTV to Dish network with the HD programming package at the same time.
We sit about 10 ft away from it in a semi circle. No problems watching it on an angle. I've added surround sound since then.
Absolutely love it! Still have the old 27" TV but there is no comparison!
