| State law requires me to wear my orange hat and vest valued at $10.00. I put that on over whatever I'm wearing for the day, usually jeans or bibs, and pick up my 35 Remington that I paid $35.00 for in 1975. I walk out back of my house, sip a coffee, wait a while to see if any deer come running across the field.
If nothing runs by me in the time it takes me to get cold, I take a walk over to my neighbors property and this is where you and I can merge ideas. In the absence of any deer in his field, I follow your advice and just bring home a quarter of beef. A box of 20 shells will last 20 years, seems like a great price no matter what meat ends up in the freezer. | |
