Saskatchewan | Rule of thumb is spend as much on the scope as you did on the rifle.( That's what the gun sales guys said anyway) I had a simmons on my 7mm Mag, it came as one of those package deals. The cross hairs started jumping around when I was shooting. Found out later that the scope was intended for rimfire rifles. The higher end Simmons are good, but now I put a bushnell 3-9x40, it a good scope, my nephew put on a bushnell 3-9x50 on his .30-06, I sure wish I bought the bigger scope instead, bigger objective, and more light too.( Sorry I don't remember the model names off hand). | |
