| We always used to run the hogs with the cattle. Brood sows that is. If you did that you didnt have to feed the sows much. Used to run them in the cornfield behind the cattle. Great way to keep them in shape an out off your hair. They would come home later in the afternoon go in the hoghouse an you wouldnt here peep out off them . At daylight they would be out in the field again. Had the best pigs with little problem. Had chickens as well. No waste what soever. Kind off miss those days. | |
