indiana | you can do a search here there was a discussion on this awhile back and i think someone said michigan state did a study and the extra gain was not worth what it cost to grind the corn i know i feed some shelled corn with full hay to my weaned calves and they are really starting to grow they have been weaned about 30 days now but without the hay in the rumen i am not sure how the shelled corn works i know i was in your situtation my old grider was shot so i just junked it and now feed shelled corn to the calves David | |
