I'd grind or roll it. Cattle on full grain finishing ration will do ok on whole grain but too much passes through. If corn is cheap you can accept poorer feed conversion ,but at feed prices like right now you want to maximize every pound they eat. Also cattle will 'get tired' of whole corn around 100 days on feed. Conversions are terrible after that. The fine ground corn the dairy guys use is useful when you feed a high roughage diet. The higher grain /low roughage finishing rations should be course ground ,rolled or best of all steam flaked. My thoughts.
