near dyersville iowa | i think it depends on your feeding system. If you are just dumping whole corn out there once or twice a day, a lot of it just passes through. If you are feeding a tmr or some other form of a mixed ration, the corn has a lot more time to be digested, as it passes through the the cow. I dont feed steers personally, so im not sure the best way to do it, just what i learned from my dairy days. | |
