Subject: Is grinding corn worth it?

SE VA
I was just wondering if grinding corn is worth the trouble for finishing cattle. There seems to be alot of people that say yes and alot that say no. We have always ground corn but our feedmill is shot and I am trying to decide to replace it or not. I know nutritionist want corn ground fine for dairy cattle but then people feed whole corn to beef cattle. If ground corn is digested better in dairy cattle wouldn't there be an advantage to grinding it for feeding beef. Just wanted to see what everyone thought here. Thanks.
