| I have said for years that I am so ugly, the only way I can get uglier was to get bigger. The unfortunate truth is that for the last several years, I have been getting uglier and uglier. LOL
After knee surgery this July and a trip to the Cardiologist for a check up beforehand, It became very obvious that I had to do something. I went on a diet on July 26 and as of last Thursday, I have reached my first goal and have lost 54 pounds.
I have not felt better in a lot of years. I am sleeping better, have more energy and a better temperament as I am not so tired now. I know the battle ahead is to lose a few more pounds and keep it off. It will be a battle I will have to fight for the rest of my life.
