bstclee, just throwing this out there, may not be suitable for you in your situation but is using a mix mill the cheapest easiest route to go. I have used those in an emergency when our stationary hammer mill went down but it is was a big pain. A small electric motor hammer mill with a couple pencil augers dumping into a small bay (the "bay" can be anything, a few big square bales with plywood over the top) would be easier I would think. just turn it on and let it run for a few hours while you do something else. then scoop it up with a loader and into the mixer.

Again, don't know the situation you are in or herd size etc. but for us that is much easier / cheaper than going the mix mill route. Especially with dry shelled corn it is pretty easy to handle.
