E.Central MN | I agree. Its a bad situation without a solution. What good is a contract if the entity you are dealing with breaches the contract later thru bankruptcy? In rapidly rising and falling markets how can anyone be certain that a grain buyer is properly hedging its business and won't declare bankruptcy within 90 days? The net result .... farmers will be put in the position of refusing to deliver grain if bankruptcy is declared which will instantly close a business even if it may have been able to work its way thru a reorganization. | |
