October corn prices at local ethanol plant -.93 basis for net of 3.85 cash
October corn prices at local large feed millimg elevator -.88 for net of 3.88 cash
Basis at ethanol plant for Dec corn delievery is now -.70
Both are still writing new crop corn contracts
Higher the futures goes-- the wider they are moving the basis. Spreading much of the risk back to the producer
