West Central IL | My average yields on what I have done so far have run 30-40 bushel less than what it was yield checked the same week as the Pro Farmer tour. One of my landlords is from northern IL in the Joliet area and the early yields he has heard have only been in the 150 range so not all of northern IL is going to pour out super high yields to bring the state average up.
I do agree that we DO NOT need $5-6 corn,most of us can do very well in the upper $4 range.
