Some decent corn here and there? Yes. A blanket statement that Illinois corn is better than average or better than expected is way off base. I'm expecting Illinois corn to be better as a whole than a lot of guys here are claiming but I know my own corn looks to be at least 20 to 30 bu less than last year. While I think the corn is better than some think you need to come to grips with the fact that your 170 national yield is history by five to ten bushels. I think this market may possibly be getting to the point of being over bought.
