Neighbor always talked about loading a tame bull in the old days. He absolutely would not go up the chute no matter what they did. So one guy got the bright idea of lifting the bull up with the loose hay sling and the hay rope and backing the truck under it. When then the sling came tight under the bull he let out a big beller and the team of horses on the hay rope spooked and took off so the bull ended up in the hay mow, where they butchered him.
I think that is a story in every farming community that ever existed. |
