Merchandising is where the money is. Every time I read some "expert" telling how there is no justification to owning storage and handling facilities 'cause you can just trade paper, I just shake my head and wonder what that idiot has been smoking. The ability to physically handle grain and deliver it into whatever market is needy routinely pays as well as any piece of infrastructure we own.
