| Actually SC,,,,,,,was talking with my "Guy" at Gen Mills in the twin cities and that is the conclusion that we came away with..........should be selling the deffered futures...I sold some March Minny today..........and then sit tight for basis appreciation..................................
If guys would QUIT any DP if offered and keep the grain at home it would work.............meanwhile the issue of course is cash flow.........in Durum I have a $6.17 loan rate and DID NOT go into the ACRE program on thos farms (30% whack on loanrate if in ACRE)............
We HAVE TO LEARN to play the merchandising game on OUR OWN FARMS..........................................I am going to apply for a loan from CCC for a GRAIN CLEANER.............they are eligible under the Grain Storage Loan program...............clean and BLEND my own stuff.......................................................you want 15% HRS???? OK ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you want 14's...........no problem.........................................................................
BASIS is a BIG issue this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
