The only time the corn soybean ratio HAS to be in balance is prior to planting time. That's done now, and hasn't started in Braz/Arg yet, so the ratio's can move wherever. When it comes time to set acres, then it counts, and the traders do their stuff to make their money while it comes back into balance.
