I have a 4 foot culvert at one end of my pasture. I don't have anything over it. No calves in this pasture, only cows. Never had anything go through it yet. They will go under the bridge at my house to go to the pasture across the road. It is a square opening instead of round.
Will cattle walk into/through a ditch culvert?
