Scott City, KS | I disagree. You don't need RTK to strip-till, then plant, and then harvest on those strips. We've been doing exactly this for the past several years with the SF2 signal. We simply record our heading at each field when we do the strip-till operation. When planting and harvesting, you just pull into the field and align on some rows and set your A and then enter your heading. I would agree with Don. The small errors we occasionally see with SF2 are a function of the tractor's ability to follow the signal and/or the planters ability to perfectly follow the tractor.
