| RTK eliminates nearly all satellite drift which is good where repeatability is required. SF2 has an accuracy of +/- 4 inches, but it's not repeatable. So if a guy wants to strip till, then plant and harvest exactly on those strips with a guidance system, you need RTK. Now SF2 would work for strip till, but then all bets are off for completely accurate guidance on those same strips with the planter and/or combine. | |
